hii am emailing to check your prices. I have 58 reg corsa d which wont start. I have had diagnostics on which tells me I have a transponder fault. I have had an auto locksmith out to reprogram the keys and cut a new spare key but this still didnt work. they also checked the relay in the ignition and this was showing no faults. I have had 2 mechanics out who cannot determine the problem but advise they cannot see anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle. it just wont deactivate the immobiliser and therefore the light on the dashboard flashes which the cars handbook says is an immobiliser fault. one mobile mechanic suggested it may be a problem with the ecu or bcm unit and may need either checking for faulty wires or replacing completely but they did not have the equipment to check do this. as I cannot move the car can you advise if you have come across this before and what your thoughts are to get this resolved. I would need to get the car towed to you from washington or have a mechanic attend the vehicle so could you give me a quote on how much it would cost to diagnose firstly and then fix if you think this would be possible by yourselves before I have to go to vauxhall directly. I have had a opcom machine on th car but this wont accept the car security code on my vauxhall car pass so I am unable to do anything to get into the system to attempt to fix.interestingly I have found a few articles on the internet to suggest this is a common fault with this car and the bcm software may need updating but as I cannot get the opcom system to accept the car code I fear I may need a new ecu unit.so far I have tried the above and charging and disconnecting the battery for 24 hrs but it seems to have everyone puzzled as to what may be causing this. hoping you can help. I cannot alway answer my monile phone due to work so would appreciate an email response. regards and many thankslouise loynes

it`s a lancia phedra x hdi 170hp, exactly the same as a peugeot x the turbo is definitely gone, some boost occasionally, but loses power quickly and drops out of cruise. diagnostics confirmed a turbo fault, there`s also oil in the intercooler, apparently. please could you give me a rough estimate for replacing the turbo, plus all the other bits this will entail (if it all goes to plan). I am well aware that other issues could come to light - after several years of ownership I am a realist! email is the best way to reach me, as i`m on a french mobile. thanks in advance.
