the car had been a nightmare not starting etc so I had the crank shaft sensor changed and all has been fine for about x miles. the eml has been on since a few days after I bought the car 2 years ago mechanic says its the lamba sensor but nothing to do with current problems .now after x miles after the crank shaft sensor change it cuts out in the middle of driving which is very scary it sometimes feels like it is losing power when pulling off too again this has only been the last 3 days.my dads cheap diagnostic machine says its now the cam shaft sensor and from reading online I am thinking its likely the car just needs to be scrapped as its all to do with the timing chain.however I wanted to be certain before I scrapped it as I really dont have the funds for a new car right now so wondered if you had the equipment to diagnose it properly and tell me if its repairable or worth scrapping its done 149k miles
